Biography
My name is Jasmin Hecht, I am twenty-one years old and from Germany. I’ve painted my whole life since I was a little child and always wanted to be an artist. My family always told me that you can’t center your life around art, so I stopped taking art as a career seriously. Now I’m a scrub tech, and despite my happiness through this job, I still need art in my life. I’m an adult now; I earn my own money, and I want proof that art can get you somewhere in life. My art is self-taught, I paint mainly with acrylics, and I recently found my passion for mixing acrylics with oil pastels. In my childhood I was always surrounded by nature and plants. My mom is a huge gardener, and I want to bring the beauty of nature and flowers from my mom’s garden to life through my work.
