Biography
As an artist and architect based in the Canary Islands, my artistic work stems from the dialogue between my two professional and creative facets. This dual perspective profoundly influences how I understand and construct images, where space, structure, and composition coexist with intuition, emotion, and the freedom of gesture. In my work, I combine geometric forms, linked to architectural language, order, and construction, with organic forms that are freer, more fluid, and ever-changing. Color plays a fundamental role in this process. Through it, I generate atmospheres, rhythms, and contrasts that transform the perception of forms and lend an emotional dimension to each piece.
Project Statement
Project title: ”That 80´s glam!”. Inspired by the colourful, glittery and bold looks of the 80’s, this series of portraits combines the evocative potential of color with geometry and free-flowing lines to create mischievous, ironic, and fun characters enveloped in a ‘glam’ atmosphere that gives each work a unique personality and mirrors the society with a touch of humour.
